That Was Then…This Is Now was a series of rock documentaries shot on 16mm in 1988. This one is The Cure. I had recorded this onto VHS when it was originally broadcast. I’ve finally digitised it. It’s cut off at the beginning, sorry, although don’t think it’s cut off much. Also the sound / picture isn’t great due to VHS. Hope you enjoy it.

its weird sometimes Robert Smith has a cleft in his chin and sometimes he doesn’t. Perhaps it’s the? lighting?
Like Bowie, Robert Smith is a true creative genius…A rare breed and in common with others? I respect everything he has done… no sell outs…push it as far as you can…Pornography eg. but yet produce some amazingly listenable stuff…

People, this is one of the most brilliant artists of our lifetime,Robert Smith is a Genius,an absolute alternative pioneer ? prodigy,hes been rocking since 76,thats about the same as AC/DC,Disintegration is a fucking masterwork,I like every song on the whole CD,its the only CD I own that I like every fucking trac,and ive got close to 1000 tapes disc and vinyl,This is the greatest alternative band of all times.
