Back in 2004 I was invited to observe, as a non-active party, the first anniversary celebration of an American couple in a bdsm dungeon located in San Diego. Imbued with the documentary spirit, I brought a 16mm camera hoping to capture this event on film. Unfortunately the couple declined to filmed. I present to you my attempt to recreate an important day in the lives of two people who love each other dearly. -DW Micheaux

This film was shot with a Canon Scoopic 16mm Camera and was my first film project at SDSU.

This short film (aka Music Video) is called “A FAMILY ALBUM.” scripted and directed by Frank Zagottis and based on “TWO BEDS & A COFFEE MACHINE”. . Shot on 16mm at the INTERNATIONAL FILM & VIDEO WORKSHOPS in Rockport, Maine. This was my first time writing and directing film (and my first YouTube upload!) I welcome your feedback. Thanks!
