Alphabet Bombers Panic Attack Music video Directed by Joseph

This is the super 16mm Alphabet Bombers “Panic Attack”. This is a video that I have a lot of fond memories and sentimental attachment too. This was my first full sized production and my first time working with actors. I think maybe a small handful of people know what’s really driving the story in this video. In 4 days we shot a music video and a short film to go inside it. We played out all the cool parts of 50s movies and had a rumble in a graveyard between skeleton gangs. What more could I ask for? Throbbin Hoods – “Walkin Around” Music Video for TV

www.humpdayhaha.blogspot.com (go there for a laugh or two) We have a blogger account for The Hoods at www.throbbinhoods.blogspot.com – This video was made in 1996 by Ink Monkeys and partially funded by VideoFact. We had make-up, catering, playback and super 16mm. The video came right from an old SVHS tape and I cleaned it up and put a better quality soundtrack (the original was a bit…er…fuzzy sounding). It stars the original line-up of Hoods Buck Moore, Martin Dulac and Mark Richards (guitar, drums, bass/lead vocals). This song was produced by the legendary Cecil English of Vancouver, BC The song was originally a slower shuffle called ‘He Just Kept Walkin Around’ about a guy named Jim who paced around the warehouse I worked in until 1995. The Hoods (we) rearranged it and Mark wrote lyrics in between the catch phrase…BTW, this is one of the many Hoods’ songs WITH NO CHORUS, per se. Enjoy!! Oh, and check out that guitar solo! Mark said the end of it sounds like a mad scientist trashing a lab with a cast-iron frying pan! Yikes! Also, the intro and outro both have a ‘harmonized melody’ Producer/Editor: Jesse Shamata Directed by: Daniel Hawkes DOP: Ricardo Diaz
