Okay for my film production class i have to come up with a film idea and contract the casting agency tomorrow, keep in mine that i’m using a 16mm camera (bolex) so i’m shooting in black and white with no audio…my idea is to have two people doing two different things that are completely unrelated…a screen for each of them so the audience will be thinking, “huh, how are these things related?!” and then have them tie together in the end somehow but i don’t know what two things it should be of…

please help!!

Main thing is to develop without re-exposure. I’m going to be developing 8mm and 16mm reversal film. I want to start doing just black and white at first and move on to color later, so the B&W is what I’m mostly interested in. I heard to can do it without re-exposure and from people that you can’t. If not, then I need 2nd developer or redeveloper. Are they the same? Some say to use stop bath and some say bleach bath. Some say develop for 7-9mins, others 60 seconds. Also, Kodak sells about 100 developer concentrates, from D-14 to D-74. Whats the difference? Does it matter which one as long as it’s for B&W reversal?

I have to come up with a magical realism video for my film production class…keep in mind i am working with at 16mm camera that shoots in black and white and no audio sound and am just completely baffled right now…any ideas??
