New Haven Railroad in the 1950′s is vintage footage shot by Kent Cochrane all on 16mm film. He was a Navy photographer during WWII and did outstanding work on the New Haven. Original show was about an hour, but we have added another 15-17 minutes of a Cape Cod trip in RDC cars to this show. Lots of great diesel and RDC action, plus the last steamer 3016 in action. Again this is just a preview, and in fact its the one we did when the video was released around 1990. for more go to our video website.

Classic vintage 1950′s cine projector & sound box
GB Bell and Howell 631/32/5 16mm 1950’s cineprojector and sound box, separately housed in in grey blue original cases. Heavy duty bits of kit. Definitely of the era and unrefurbished but intact as far as aware.

Why Braceros?

Great shots of the steam trains in Fostoria Ohio from the mid 1950′s. These are part of a show on B&O Steam Railroads which was filmed by Donald J. Krofta with his 16mm camera. Audio by Jim Hawk, narration by Danny Harmon. This is from a film/video available from Herron Rail Video (www.herronrail.com) along with many other quality trains programs. I am not associate with Herron Rail Video, but want to give credit to them for these great historic shots in Fostoria. Their B&O / C&O video has many other steam engines along the route through Ohio. I have added in some text descriptions of the locations in Fostoria where these were filmed. Please view my other Fostoria Train shows also.

This is a promotional 16mm. film showing how the tractors are made in the factory and their special features. The film is entitled “A New High”. It is slightly longer than 10 minutes so the last part will be in a separate video.
